Due to popular demand the MBCA Board has reinstated the kayak and canoe lottery system for the racks at each beach. In order to make this process as fair as possible, please review all of the information as well as the lottery application thoroughly. It can be found on the Document page of the website or here. If you are currently storing a canoe or kayak on any of the racks please remove them by 5:00 PM on July 21,2017. Abandoned vessels will be removed and disposed of by an MBCA representative. Lottery applications will be accepted between June 12, 2017 and June 30, 2017, with the lottery taking place the first week of July 2017. Winners will be notified by email. 2017 lottery winners will be allowed to place their vessels in their newly assigned berths on August 1, 2017. 2017 stickers will be valid until June 1, 2018. Because we are trying to get this program back on a regular schedule we recognize that this is a shortened season. After this year the season will run from June to June. With that in mind, the board has opted to waive the fee for the 2017 season for all lottery winners.
